You may know me as the gamer guy on the bus who busts out his DS, playing his favourite RPG du jour. You may also know me as the nerdy guy on the bus who busts out his calculator, working on his Math homework due tomorrow.
You may know me as the awkward guy at the party who smiles and waves at everyone like a dork. You may also know me as the flamboyant guy at the party who breaks into song and dance after a couple shots of vodka.
While stereotypes are unavoidable, don’t let stereotypes define who you are. Be who you dream to be. Say “I will” instead of “I wish”.
That at least, is the motto I try to abide by.
Besides the D&G shows, this is probably my favourite runway show that I’ve seen!
(Its hard to top the hot male models in the D&G shows XD)
Anyways, there are several things to love about this show.
1. The Models
I absolutely adore the way the models pose here. The way they do the little pause, turn and pose is so elegant. They do this leaning back pose, but with their neck and upper body aligned. Very high fashion.
2. The Designs
Pure white may seem kind of plain, but it really isn’t! Rania commented on how they’re all so floaty… Reminds me of jellyfish! (around 1:07, this one particular. “Jellyfish cake dress” XD)
And even though its supposed to be “haute couture”, you could totally wear these dresses in real life. (Though probably only in some kind of high class social function, lol) The designs aren’t crazy for the sake of being “different”
3. The Music
Bjork! Bjork’s music fits this kinda show very well. But what’s REALLY amazing is the remix of Mozart’s “Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen” (from The Magic Flute). This is the most well known pieces for coloratura sopranos, and one of my favourite opera pieces. (around 5:00) Plus, I have a weak spot for techno/electronica infused with opera. I wish I could find who did the remix though!
And those are my thoughts about this show, hope all of you will enjoy it as much as I do.
看完的感想是…Gucci的男模都好瘦阿! Makes me feel better about myself. XD
不過POST這場秀的主要原因是為了要證明高的男生也可以穿正太裝 XD
(因為IVY說我穿太高了不能穿正太裝XD)
雖然說這裡也不是特別多正太裝, but you get the point. (大概從+1:20開始)
